Thinking about New York City for your next trip. Planning to stay only 3, 4 or 5 days, what are the best things to do in New York? The Metropolitan area is the most populated in the world. There are five Boroughs: The Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island.

You arrive to one of these three New York airports : John F. Kennedy (12 miles to Downtown), LaGuardia (on Long Island)and Newark (15 miles of Midtown). The easiest way to go to the city is by bus or by taxi.

How to go around New York City? The most reliable way is by subway with its 468 stations. The yellow cabs can be very convenient when you are few persons travelling together.

Empire State Building

One of the best attractions in New York, there is often a long queue to get into the building. The best time for a visit will be early in the morning or at night (look at the beautiful lights).

Look up at the beautiful ceiling in the lobby. You have the choice to buy thetickets to go to the observation deck on the 86th floor or the both of them the 86th and 102nd floor. An express pass is available for skipping the queue.

Rockefeller Center

Located in the Mid-Town of Manhattan, the Rockefeller Center is one of the best places for having fun in New York. There are ones of the best stores , restaurants, cafes and in winter, an ice-skating rink. A large crowd comes every Christmas to admire the huge Christmas tree. Subway: 47th-50th St.

Statue of Liberty in New York
