The Glyptothek Museum in Munich is located on Konigplatz. U-Bahn: Konigplatz. The museum is closed on Mondays. It was founded by Ludwig I of Bavaria and contains a beautiful collection of Greek and Roman sculptures. The Barberini Faun is one of the most famous sculptures.
On the other side, there is the Staatliche Antikensammlungen (State Collections of Antiques) that contains an impressive collection of antiques. The antique pottery collection is famous around the world. The museum is closed on Mondays.
The Deutsches Museum (German Museum) is located on the Museum Island Museumsinsel. It's a huge museum about science and technology.
You can see many interesting objects like the first motorized aircraft, the first program-controlled computer... Collection of machines, power engines, tools, modern machines tools...

The Pinakothek der Moderne (modern art museum) is located in the Munich Centre. Take the U-Bahn to Odeonsplatz. The museum is open every day except Mondays and some holidays.
An annual pass is available for a free entrance to the Pinakothek der Moderne, Alte Pinakothek, Neue Pinakothek, Museum Brandhorst, the Sammlung Schack and others galeries.
The beautiful collection of Modern Art includes works of Robert Delaunay, Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso... also drawings of Henri Matisse, Cezanne and Michelangelo.
The BMW Welt is situated near the Olympia Park in Munich near the U-Bahn Olympiazentrum. Visitors can discover stunning BMW cars and other vehicles. The museum is closed on Mondays, December 31 and January 1.
